Stabilization Grants
These grants help providers operate and maintain their child care facility. While funds can be used to support different aspects of operations, providers must verify how they’re using grant funds quarterly:
- Personnel costs
- Rent, mortgage, utilities, facility maintenance and insurance
- Personal protective equipment, sanitation and other health and safety practices
- Equipment and supplies related to COVID-19
- Goods and services
- Mental health services
- Past expenses that incurred prior to the grant that may have caused financial harm to the program
Financial Assistance
When providers participate in ABC Quality, they can access financial assistance options and benefits that help them balance the bottom line.
- Grants, awards and other financial and operational assistance
- Higher percentage of direct scholarship payments based on quality level
- Nutrition assistance funding
Technology Grants
Child care providers can access a one-time technology grant. Funds can be used to purchase technology equipment or services that will help support their child care program’s operations or services.
- Computers, laptops and accessories
- Tablets
- Printer/scanner
- Curriculum and program-related software and apps
- Smartboards
- Technology maintenance, repairs and installation
- Wi-Fi, internet or broadband upgrade or expenses
- Mobile hotspots
- Wireless doorbell systems
- Security or monitoring systems
- Accounting, payroll or business operations software
